June Wine Tasting!

What a wonderful time we had with Andy Woolgar of Elephants Corner Wines this past weekend! Thanks to everyone who attended; your support of South African wines is much appreciated!   So, what's in store for June you ask?  On Friday & Saturday June 17th & 18th, we welcome back Chris Izzo of Epiphany Wine Company.  Chris' knowledge of and passion for wine is contagious and if you haven't met Chris yet, now is your chance!  Mark your calendars and come out and enjoy some delicious wines and good company; stay posted for a sneak peek of the wines that Chris has in store for us...

March Wine Tasting Recap!

Thank you to everyone who ventured into Spring with us this weekend at our monthly wine tasting event!  This month, we welcomed Heather Parnham of Johnson Brothers / Mutual Distributing. Friday night, our New Bern store had a lovely turn out and on Saturday in Oriental, on a beautiful albeit breezy day, every seat in the house was taken!  Heather a native Carolinian who was a "California girl" for almost a decade, started the tastings with a terrific champagne out of Sonoma County, California; Banshee, "Ten of Cups" Brut.  A real crowd pleaser, the bubbles had everyone smiling!  We "traveled" with Heather tasting wines from California, France, Italy and Spain with the overall favorite being the Renato Ratti Barbera, a fresh, fruity wine with cherries, lemon...
