Join us as we welcome back Dan Mcrae with Queen of Wines. Dan is bringing French wine to taste like he did in his August tasting with Nautical Wheelers. Dan's experience with wine and helping folks find their right wine started with his work in restaurants, as a buyer with a food coop and now with Queen of Wines. Dan also has a heart for wines that pair well with coastal NC. He has spent most of his time around Wilmington and coastal North Carolina. Andy is back and bringing 5 new to the US wines with him Friday 4-6 in New Bern and then Saturday at 2 and 3 pm for a classroom style tasting. The lineup: Groot Phesantekraal, SPARKLING CHENIN BLANC Van Hunks, BRUT, W.O. Stellenbosch, South Africa 70% Chardonnay 30% Pinot Noir This winery is new to us but not to Andy. The next two are made by Weinand Grobler, who has been to Oriental 3 times and makes our Mermaid Label "Nautical" wines.
