Wednesday, November 27th, Nautical Wheelers will present the Wines of Bobby Wallace. Bobby is the winemaker at his family's wine farm in Elgin, South Africa. He works alongside his father, Paul Wallace, a viticulturist. Paul manages and tends the wine farm and has helped many of the wine farms in Elgin plan and tend the vineyards. Mother Nicky is the business manager and keeps everything running as it should on the farm, including the winery and she assists with distribution. Hello Wine-o's! A new month means a new wine tasting and this month we have a special event taking place for our Oriental Tasting. This month is a little different as New Bern will host a floating Sip N Shop on September 27th from 4pm-6pm, and Oriental will have a semi-traditional tasting, classroom style on September 28th at 2pm and again at 3pm. On Friday, we will have a Sip N Shop of Italian Wines selected by New Bern Store Manager Sydney! She has selected three of her favorite Italian Wines for everyone to taste while they shop all our new fall arrivals. Join us in welcoming back Stephanie for our October wine tasting. Stephanie is bringing some wonderful wines everyone is sure to fall in love with. As per usual both tastings will be complimentary. The Friday tasting in New Bern will be a floating event, and Saturday's events in Oriental will be classroom style, reviewing the wines one by one as a group.
