We are kicking off 2023 with a special wine tasting event that you don't want to miss. Camilla is heading into our "wine cellar" and revisiting our vast collection of wines. She will revive, rejuvenate and reintroduce some oldies but goodies in a variety of price ranges. A true wine connoisseur, Camilla will share her passion and knowledge about wine, and anyone that knows Camilla can attest to her expertise when it comes to which foods pair best with particular wines. Join us in New Bern on Friday, January 20th from 5-7pm and in Oriental on Saturday, January 21st from 2-4pm.
This month we feature two South African wines both created by winemaker and viticulturist Johan Viljoen; Anno 1693 and 'The Coat' (each bottle of 'The Coat' has been personally autographed by Johan). Next weekend we welcome back Chris Izzo who will share six wines with us that all have a "French Connection". While some connections may be obvious, there are others that are not, and Chris will make those connections for us. Chris has been tasting with us for the past few years first, as part of Johnson Brothers / Mutual Distributing, and then recently he joined Epiphany (sister company of Johnson Brothers / Mutual).
