May 30th – 3rd Annual SA Braai with Rockstar Winemakers from South Africa

We're thrilled to invite you to our 3rd Annual SA Braai featuring Andy Woolgar and three outstanding South African winemakers: Wynand Grobler, Bobby Wallace, and Jasper Wickens. Wynand and Bobby are returning to Nautical Wheelers, and we are honored to welcome them back. This will be Jasper's first visit to Nautical Wheelers, and he has heard great things.

Wynand, Bobby and Jasper welcomed Camilla and Bill to their South African Wine Farms last September and now they are on the way here.

This exclusive event will immerse you in the flavors of South Africa, with a $50 per person ticket that includes:

• A wine tasting featuring 9 wines (3 from each winemaker)

• A delicious South African meal and dessert

  •               Boerwurst (farmers sausage) from Rainbow Meadows Farms, Snow Hill
  •               Bobotie - a curried beef pie. Beef from the Piglet Grocery in Oriental 
  •                 served with Carolina Gold Rice from Tidewater Grain here in Oriental
  •               Chakalaka - a traditional relish  that was enjoyed at each year's Braai
  •               Tossed Salad
  •               Malva Pudding - it's really good

• 2 glasses of wine to enjoy throughout the evening

May 31st – South African Wine Showcase

Join us for an unforgettable wine-tasting experience at our first South African Showcase of Wines at our Oriental store! Whether you're a wine connoisseur or just looking to explore new flavors, this event is the perfect way to spend your day. We will have 3 tents set up in Oriental where each of the

Winemakers will pour tastings of 5 of their wines. 

Hors d'oeuvres will be provided.

Hoff and Finch will be playing music from 1:30 PM-3:30 PM.

Showcase includes a $10 coupon to purchase a bottle of wine.
