We want to let you know about the November wine tasting with Andy Woolgar presenting Swerwer Wines. (Camilla writes) Bill and I had the opportunity to meet Jasper in September this year in the Swartland of South Africa. Jasper is regarded as one of South Africa's most celebrated young winemakers and we really enjoyed his delicious wines. It was so much fun to do barrel tastings of wines not yet bottled. Jasper has a great sense of humor as you may see as he describes the wine still in barrel.
One thing that was obvious as we toured his cellar - he is a huge Johnny Cash fan. Vinyl's were proudly displayed on the wall. It is a family affair for Swerwer Wines. Jasper makes wine and he and his wife, Franziska, farm the vineyards.
