Bobby Wallace Visits Nautical Wheelers - 2nd Annual Wine & Braai

We had the most amazing time hosting Bobby Wallace with Off The Record and Paul Wallace Wines this past weekend. Andy Woolgar, South African wine distributor with Elephant's Corner joined us as well to add to the fun!

We kicked off the festivities Friday evening with a complimentary wine tasting in New Bern. Andy and Bobby poured five wonderful South African Varietals for the crowd to taste. As always all the wines, and our hosts, were a hit!

The main event, the Wine and Braai on Saturday night was a great time. Amazing wines, paired with delicious food, enjoyed with some of the best company you can find! This event is one of our favorite traditions at Nautical Wheelers and is the perfect way to round out our summer months.
We want to once again recognize and thank everyone who played a role in making this weekend such an amazing time! First and foremost, a huge thank you to our wonderful customers, without whom there would be no Braai at all! We hope you guys had a wonderful time meeting and learning from Bobby.
Thank you, of course, to Andy Woolgar and Bobby Wallace for making and supplying such amazing wines and sharing your wine knowledge with us all. We all learned a lot from Bobby and Andy and definitely enjoyed the wine selections!
Thank you Korie Woolgar for the delicious Chakalaka and tomato relish and being such an amazing help in keeping things running smoothly!
Last but certainly not least, a huge thank you to Chef Barry for preparing traditional South African Braai fare for us all! The food was wonderful and we are so grateful that Chef Barry and Korie were able to provide us with such delicious food to accompany the wonderful wine.
It was a wonderful time for us all and we hope you all had as much fun as we did! These Braais are truly a wonderful way to bring not only our customers together, but also cultures. It's a blast getting to bring a touch of South Africa to Eastern North Carolina.
Cheers All!
